Maggie Kelly is a professionally trained performing artist, originally from small town Komoka, Ontario. At age three she took her first dance class, and four years later, entered her first competition. Maggie competed for ten years, and at age seventeen, she received early acceptance and a scholarship to attend the Joffrey Ballet School.
Maggie moved to New York City the following year to begin her professional training, and was immediately taken with the vibrant city of New York. She spent a year at Joffrey, before transferring to Steps on Broadway, where she completed another two and a half years of professional study. Maggie graduated in 2019, and was the first Canadian student to graduate from the Steps Conservatory.
Following graduation, Maggie spent six months freelancing in the city, before relocating to Montreal, Quebec in early 2020. When the pandemic hit, Maggie moved back home to be with her family, and has continued her training through daily online classes and workshops. Maggie became a certified Zena Rommett Floor Barre instructor in the fall of 2020, and has thoroughly enjoyed teaching online while in quarantine.
Maggie has delved into other aspects of the performing arts over the last year, with virtual voice and acting lessons. Maggie adores musical theatre, and was recently cast in a local production of A Killer Party - A Murder Mystery Musical. Maggie is very excited for the opportunity to perform in this uncertain time, and is looking forward to connecting with other artists in her community.
